People tell you what colour they are if you watch what they do and listen to what they say.
There's no doubt about what colour Eugenie Brouchard is based on her interview with BBC's Gary Richardson
immediately following her victory over Simona Halep to reach the Wimbledon final.
Eugenie " Yeah was a little crazy, I don't know, I've
never ended a match like that before. I'm just happy, but I kept my focus and
that I didn't get distracted or anything."
Eugenie" I'm really excited, I have a day off tomorrow,
I can't wait to play. It's good to be my first Grand Slam Final, so I'm just
gonna go for it.
I'll have probably my toughest match yet, so I'm looking
forward to the challenge."
Eugenie" I never say I'm surprised because I put in a lot of hard work, and it's been years in
the making for me, so I believe in myself and I expect good results, and I
always want more. I've had a good start to the season, but I expect myself to
do even better than that, so that's what I'm going to try to do."
Eugenie" Yeah, that took it little bit of mental
strength there to stay focused.
I'm not going to give away any of my secrets, but it's just
important for me to enjoy being out there, and second of all, really just to
focus on what I need to do, you know, tactically how I want to play."
Eugenie " Yeah, you know it's tough work, but you know
what, it's what I love, I love working hard, and I love tough moments, and
challenges."
She said already that she will look at the DVDs and really
,really, plan for you.
What do you say to that?"
Eugenie " Well, good, I expect a tough challenge. She will
go in prepared and I will be prepared as well, and my coach will definitely
watch her play, and give me some tips on how she plays. But you know, I'm just
going to go out there and play my game, I think I can play even better than I
played today."
