Most psychometric tests use as their foundation Carl Jung’s work published in 1923 “Psychological Types” where he identified four dominant patterns of behaviour (Thinker, Feeler, Intuitor, and Sensor)

iMA Optimises Connections

High Yellows are outgoing, friendly and enthusiastic idea people who excel in getting others excited about their vision. They are fast paced, high energy and deal with people in a positive upbeat way; eternal optimists that can influence people and build alliances to accomplish their goals.

The nature and style of communications is changing. We conduct the majority of our dialogue at a distance, often with people we have never met.

Face-to-face forms, the minority of our interactions.

We rely only on the sight of words and intuition to enable us to decode their messages.

Yet it is estimated that only 20% of our communications are the words that we use, and 80% are non-verbal.
In any dialogue, the majority of the message we receive is not contained in the words.

iMA bringing Harmony to the Classroom!

I thought you would appreciate getting a copy of this article that has just been published by the Board of School Governors Association in the UK recognizing  iMA's potential for bringing harmony to the classroom.


Connectivity is a fundamental life skill and yet, up until now little or no training has been available. 
Identify Modify Adapt (iMA) is an exciting, new, universal language, designed to maximise connectivity i.e. mutual liking, trust, understanding and respect.

By its ability to identify and observe patterns, iMA provides a simple way to understand the differences between people, then connect with them on their wavelength. When this happens communication, understanding and trust go up, stress and tension go down.

Ninety head teachers at the Independent Schools Associations Autumn Conference 2010 were introduced to iMA.  Seventy-seven per cent of the heads rated iMA as excellent and 21 per cent very good, with a high level of interest in how iMA could be used to promote harmony in the classroom.

They recognised that iMA with its four key dialects provides a simple way of communicating with different people, each on their own wavelength.

A two year case study at Princess Helena College in Hertfordshire showed that iMA:

Facilitated learning
Strengthened relationships  between teachers and students
Provided self understanding to support more effective teaching
Boosted  Morale
Enhanced Cooperation
